Indications / Uses
CATAPRES Clonidine 75mcg is used for the management of high blood pressure, also known as hypertension, which includes dealing with severe elevations in blood pressure such as a hypertensive crisis. This medication works by stimulating alpha-adrenoceptors in the brainstem, which reduces sympathetic outflow from the central nervous system. This action leads to a decrease in peripheral resistance, heart rate, and overall blood pressure. Furthermore, it is also indicated for the prevention of migraine or recurrent vascular headaches and for the effective treatment of flushing and other symptoms associated with menopause.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?
