Directions and Dosage

• Dosage for Adults (18+ years) with High Blood Pressure: The starting dose is usually 40 mg taken two times daily. The typical daily maintenance dosage ranges from 120 mg to 240 mg.
• Dosage for Adults (18+ years) with Angina or Migraine: A common starting dose is 40 mg taken 2 or 3 times per day. Maintenance doses range from 120 mg to 240 mg daily.
• Dosage for Kids and Adolescents: For hypertension or migraine prevention, dosage is determined by body weight, commonly starting at 0.5 mg per kg of body weight daily, divided into two doses.

Dosage must be strictly individualized based on the condition being treated and patient response. Maximum daily dosage should generally not exceed 240 mg for long-term use, though up to 640 mg may be used in rare cases.

Contraindications
