AMLOTHIX Amlodipine 5mg is used for managing high blood pressure (hypertension) and chronic stable angina. It works by relaxing blood vessels to improve blood flow and reduce the heart's workload. This medication may also be prescribed for other cardiovascular conditions as determined by a healthcare provider.

Side Effects

AMLOTHIX Amlodipine 5mg common side effects include: swelling of the ankles or feet, dizziness, flushing, fatigue, and palpitations. Rare but serious effects may involve severe low blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, or allergic reactions such as rash or difficulty breathing.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): 5mg once daily. Maximum dose: 10mg daily.
