BABAPRESS-16 Candesartan 16mg is used for the management of high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults, helping to lower elevated blood pressure and reduce the overall risk of heart attacks and strokes. It may be used on its own or as part of a combination therapy with other blood pressure-lowering agents. Furthermore, it is also indicated for the treatment of heart failure in adult patients with impaired left ventricular systolic function (ejection fraction $\le40\%$) to decrease cardiovascular mortality and hospitalization.
