Indications / Uses
CARDIPLAT Clopidogrel 75mg is used for reducing the rate of heart attack and stroke in individuals who have experienced a recent myocardial infarction, recent stroke, or established peripheral arterial disease. It is also indicated for patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), including those with unstable angina or certain types of heart attacks, and is typically administered in conjunction with another common antiplatelet agent. This product works by preventing blood cells called platelets from clumping together, which helps stop the formation of harmful blood clots.

Do I need prescription to buy CARDIPLAT Clopidogrel 75mg?
Yes, you need a prescription. But if you don't have one, you can get a free teleconsultation from MedsGo Physician. Just make an order and our Physician will call you back.
Side Effects
CARDIPLAT Clopidogrel 75mg common side effects include bleeding or bruising more easily than normal, which may present as nosebleeds, or as small, pinpoint red spots on the skin. Other less common but possible effects include gastrointestinal upset like stomach pain, diarrhea, or nausea. Since this product reduces the blood's ability to clot, any unusual or prolonged bleeding, or the presence of blood in urine or stool, should be noted immediately. In rare cases, a serious blood-clotting disorder called Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP) may occur.
Directions and Dosage
- Dosage for Adults (18+ years) with a history of heart attack, stroke, or peripheral arterial disease: 75 mg once daily.
- Dosage for Adults (18+ years) with Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) after a loading dose: 75 mg once daily.
Not to be used in individuals younger than 18 years of age. The maximum daily dosage is 75 mg, unless a loading dose of 300 mg is used to initiate treatment for ACS. The duration of treatment varies and is determined by the underlying condition.
Contraindications
This product is unsuitable for individuals with active pathological bleeding, such as a severe bleeding peptic ulcer or bleeding in the brain. It should also be avoided by anyone who has experienced a severe allergic reaction, such as anaphylaxis, to the ingredients.
Special Precautions
- Increased risk of bleeding exists, particularly if you have conditions like stomach ulcers, a severe injury, or recent surgery.
- The product should be temporarily stopped 7 days before any surgical procedure or event where a normal clotting ability is needed.
- Effectiveness may be diminished in some individuals who are poor metabolizers of the active component due to genetic variations.
- Caution should be exercised if you have moderate to severe liver disease.
Is it safe to take it with other medications?
Co-administration with blood thinners, other antiplatelet products, or certain pain relievers (NSAIDs) increases the risk of bleeding. The combination with certain proton pump inhibitors may reduce the effectiveness of the product. Many medications are processed by the same liver enzymes, and these combinations may require careful consideration to avoid increased bleeding risk or reduced efficacy.
How should I store it?
Store the tablets in a dry place at room temperature, away from moisture. Keep the tablets in their original packaging to protect them from heat and light.
