KATHREX Cotrimoxazole 960mg is used for treating various bacterial infections including urinary tract infections, bronchitis, and traveler's diarrhea. It helps manage certain types of pneumonia like Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia in immunocompromised patients. This medication also treats ear infections and prevents recurrent urinary tract infections in susceptible individuals.

Directions and Dosage

  • Adults & Adolescents (12+ years): 1 tablet twice daily

Contraindications

Contraindicated during pregnancy, especially near term. Avoid during lactation as it may cause kernicterus in newborns.
