Description

A prescription medicine that is used to treat bacterial infections of the skin, soft tissues, bone and joints. Ciprodin-Fc Tablet is also used to treat various respiratory tract infections including bronchitis and sinus, to treat bacterial infections in other parts of the body including, urinary tract infections, kidneys, stomach, intestines, and ears, to treat sexually transmitted infections, such as, gonorrhoea, to treat typhoid fever and infectious diarrhea, and to treat certain potentially fatal infectious diseases, including, anthrax and plague.

Administration

Ciprodin-Fc is used with or without food. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Ciprodin-Fc. Tell your doctor if you can not swallow the entire tablet. Do not crush, split or chew the tablet. Ciprodin-Fc is used in the morning and evening.

Dosage

The typical dose of Ciprodin-Fc for adults is 250 -750 mg every 12 hours. This medicine is generally used for a period of 7-14 days for urinary tract infections, 7-14 days for lower respiratory tract infections, and 10 days for typhoid fever. Ciprodin-Fc is commonly used at the same time every day.

Storage

Follow storage instructions on the product package if available. Store Ciprodin-Fc Tablet at room temperature 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), away from moisture, and away from light. Store this medicine away from children and pets.
