This product is an oral anti-bacterial agent belonging to the cephalosporin class, working by destroying the bacteria's cell walls.

Side Effects

Directions and Dosage
- Dosage for Infants and Kids: The usual recommended total daily dosage is 25 to 50 mg per kg of body weight, divided into doses given every 6 or 12 hours.
- Dosage for severe infections or Otitis Media in Kids: The daily dose may be increased up to 75 to 100 mg per kg of body weight, divided into doses given every 6 or 8 hours.
The total daily dosage should not exceed 4 g. The total daily dosage should be adjusted based on the specific infection and the individual's weight. The duration of treatment is typically 7 to 14 days, and for certain strep infections, it must be given for at least 10 days.
Contraindications
The product is not suitable for individuals with a known allergy to anti-bacterial agents of the cephalosporin class. It should be used with extreme caution in those with a history of severe allergic reactions to penicillin-type anti-bacterial agents, as there is a risk of cross-sensitivity.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

It may also increase the concentration of an anti-diabetic medication called metformin.
How should I store it?
The powder for suspension should be stored at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. The reconstituted liquid must be kept refrigerated and should be discarded after 14 days.
