Indications
Xelic Capsule is used to relieve the condition of inflammation of joints due to degeneration of cartilage tissue (osteoarthritis) and a long-term stage of inflammation of the joints (rheumatoid arthritis). This medicine is also used to relieve the condition of inflammation and stiffness in joints in children of age group 16 years or younger (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis) and a form of inflammatory arthritis that affects the spine and large joints (ankylosing spondylitis). It is a prescription medicine. This medicine works by stopping the body's production of natural substances that cause pain and inflammation. Xelic is also used for the management of acute pain. It is also used to treat pain just before or during menstrual periods. Xelic is also used to reduce the incidence of abnormal tissue growth (polyps) formation in an inherited disorder of the large intestine.
Dosage
The typical dose of Xelic for adults is 100 mg twice daily. The usual dose for children is 50-100 mg twice daily. The maximum dose for adult patients of Xelic is 400 mg per day. Xelic is commonly used at the same time every day.

Xelic is eaten with or without food

Store Xelic Capsule 15-30°C (59-86°F), and away from moisture. Store this medicine away from children and pets.
