  • Tramadol Hydrochloride
  • 50 mg
  • Opiod Analgesic
  • 1 pc Capsule

Indications/Uses

Tramadol is prescribed to treat moderate to severe pain.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Use tramadol exactly as instructed by your doctor for it to be effective.

  • Take tramadol with or without food; with food if it causes stomach upset.
  • If you are given the extended-release tablet, swallow it whole with a full glass of water. Do not split, crush or chew. Expect a tablet shell which may pass into your stools. This is normal and does not mean that you are not receiving enough of the medicine.
  • If you are given the orally disintegrating tablet, take it out from the blister pack only when you are ready to take it. Ensuring that your hands are dry, place the tablet in your mouth. Do not chew or swallow it whole but let it dissolve slowly in your mouth. Swallow only the dissolved tablet. You may drink water to help swallow the dissolved tablet.
  • If you forget to use this medicine on schedule, use it immediately as you remember. However, if it is already time for the next dose, just proceed with your next regular dose schedule.
  • Unless advised by your doctor, do not double or adjust dosage, or stop use even if you feel well. Abrupt or sudden stopping of use may cause withdrawal reactions.
