Directions and Dosage

Not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Maximum treatment duration: Should not be used for longer than strictly necessary. Treatment should be as short as possible.
Contraindications
Acute intoxication with alcohol, hypnotic drugs, centrally acting analgesics, opioids, or psychotropic drugs. Severe hepatic impairment or uncontrolled epilepsy. Concurrent use or use within 14 days of withdrawing Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOIs).
Special Precautions
- May cause withdrawal symptoms if discontinued abruptly after prolonged use.
- Use with extreme caution in those with a history of seizures or head injuries.
- Risk of respiratory depression in individuals with compromised respiratory function.
- Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking this medication as it increases sedative effects.
Is it safe to take it with other medications?
Interactions may occur with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and triptans, potentially causing serotonin syndrome. Concomitant use with other central nervous system depressants or carbamazepine may alter efficacy and safety levels.
