Indications
Acute pain; Ankylosing spondylitis; Juvenile idiopathic arthritis; Osteoarthritis; Rheumatoid arthritis; Primary dysmenorrhea
Dosage
Adult: Initially, 400 mg, followed by an additional dose of 200 mg if needed on day 1. Maintenance: 200 mg bid if needed. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration.
Elderly: <50 kg: Initiate at the lowest recommended dose.
Administration
Administer with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to celecoxib, sulfonamides, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
Common side-effects
Dyspepsia, Abdominal pain, URTI, Sinusitis
