Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our e-commerce platform (“Platform”) operated by MedsGo Trading OPC, a company registered in the Philippines (“MedsGo”). By using the Platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Platform.
1. Definition of Terms
- MedsGo – A licensed healthcare service provider that facilitates physician consultations, treatment programs, and access to compounded medicines through safe, compliant, and professional care.
- Customer – An individual who avails of MedsGo’s services and agrees to the responsibilities, risks, and conditions.
- Physician – A duly licensed medical doctor engaged by MedsGo, responsible for evaluating the customer’s medical condition, prescribing appropriate treatment, and overseeing clinical care.
- Compounded Medicines – Customized medications prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy based on a physician’s prescription. These medications are legally formulated to meet specific patient needs and are used under medical supervision.
- Wellness Shot – A one-time injection of compounded medicine offered by MedsGo at a physician-approved dosage, with no follow-up plan required.
- Wellness Plan – A structured, physician-supervised treatment timeline from MedsGo, using compounded medicines tailored to the customer’s clinical needs and treatment goals.
- Payment – The amount payable upon purchase of any product or service from MedsGo, to be settled before the dispensing of medication or delivery of the selected service.
- Schedule – The confirmed date and time set between the customer and MedsGo for a consultation, or follow-up under the plan.
- Exchange – A replacement of a product or service, granted at MedsGo’s discretion, based on medical relevance, product condition, or service eligibility. A complete policy is available via a separate link.
- Refund – Return of payment is only granted under specific conditions determined by MedsGo. In compliance with Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) guidelines, refunds are not applicable for change-of-mind purchases. Compounded medications are generally non-refundable once prepared or dispensed.
- Prescription – A medical order issued by a licensed physician for a specific medication or treatment, which may be based on live consultation, or in some cases, through the completion of an online health questionnaire subject to physician review.
2. User Accounts
2.1 In order to use the Platform, you must register for an account by providing your personal information, including your name, email address, address, and phone number.
2.2 You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or breach of your account.
2.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time and without notice for any reason, including for violation of these Terms.
3. Products and Services
3.1 The Platform offers various healthcare products and services exclusively for purchase from MedsGo.
3.2 All medicines and related products are sourced directly by MedsGo from FDA-registered and licensed suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
3.3 MedsGo is solely responsible for the sale, fulfillment, and customer support related to these products and services. There are no third-party sellers on the Platform.
3.4 To enhance service efficiency, MedsGo has incorporated electronic questionnaires for select prescription-required medications to help determine medical appropriateness and expedite the consultation process.
4. Scope of Services
MedsGo provides medically guided services that include:
- Consultation with a licensed physician
- Prescription of compounded medicines (if medically appropriate)
- Medication coordination with a licensed compounding pharmacy
- Patient education and lifestyle guidance
- Follow-up monitoring (for Wellness Plan customers)
- Customer support for non-medical concerns
Not included:
- Emergency medical services
- Treatment of unrelated conditions
- Long-term primary care
- Lab tests (unless specified)
5. Physician Consultation and Medical Guidance
5.1 All medical services provided by MedsGo are conducted under the supervision of a licensed physician.
5.2 Customers may choose between two modes of consultation:
- On-site Consultation: Held at MedsGo’s main branch in Mandaluyong City and requires a confirmed appointment. Customers will have a face-to-face interaction with the physician.
- Teleconsultation: Conducted remotely. The physician will contact the customer via phone or video call to provide a diagnosis and determine treatment.
5.3 Customers without a valid prescription may still obtain prescription medications after a successful consultation and diagnosis by MedsGo’s physician.
5.4 Only medications approved and prescribed by our physician will be dispensed. MedsGo reserves the right to refuse medication requests that are not medically appropriate.
5.5 If a customer wishes to avail of a consultation with the physician only, a standard fee of Php 450 shall apply.
5.6 Pediatric patients (under 18 years of age) are required to undergo an in-person consultation at our main branch, as face-to-face evaluation is mandatory for this age group.
5.7 If a customer chooses to proceed with a consultation without the intention to purchase any product or service, or ultimately does not proceed to do so, a standard consultation fee shall apply.
6. Appointment and Scheduling
6.1 All services must be scheduled through MedsGo’s official booking channels.
6.2 Confirmed schedules must be followed. Missed appointments without prior notice may result in forfeiture.
6.3 Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be coordinated with MedsGo support.
7. Payments
7.1 The amount payable upon purchase of any product or service from MedsGo must be settled before the dispensing of medication or delivery of the selected service.
7.2 Accepted payment methods include:
- Cash on Delivery (COD)
- GCash
- QR Payments
8. Compounded Medicines Services
8.1 Compounded medicines are physician-prescribed medications prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies and offered through MedsGo.
8.2 MedsGo offers two delivery formats for this service:
- Wellness Shot – A one-time physician-administered dose
- Wellness Plan – A structured treatment program with scheduled doses over time
8.3 These services are provided only after consultation and medical evaluation.
8.4 Compounded medications are non-refundable once prepared or administered.
8.5 If a patient experiences expected and documented side effects from medicines, especially if these are completely communicated through a consultation with the physician, the treatment is non-refundable.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide complete and truthful medical information
- Attend scheduled appointments
- Follow physician instructions carefully
- Refrain from sharing or reselling prescribed medications
- Report side effects or health concerns without delay
- Make timely payments
- Provide informed consent before beginning treatment
10. Returns and Exchanges
A general policy on returns and exchanges applies. Details, including eligibility and procedures, can be found in a separate link provided on the Platform.
11. Refunds
Refunds are granted only under specific conditions in accordance with MedsGo's internal policies and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) regulations.
- Change of Mind: Refunds are not applicable.
- Valid Cases: Damaged, defective, expired, or incorrect products may be eligible for exchange upon validation.
- Compounded Medicines: Due to their personalized nature, these are non-refundable once prepared or dispensed.
Refunds for orders that the Company is unable to fulfill shall be processed on a scheduled basis every Tuesday.
12. Intellectual Property
12.1 The Platform and all content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, are the property of MedsGo or its licensors and are protected by Philippine and international copyright laws.
12.2 You may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, or create derivative works of any content on the Platform without our prior written consent.
13. Prohibited Conduct
13.1 You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Platform.
13.2 You agree not to engage in any conduct that could harm the reputation of MedsGo or the Platform, including but not limited to posting false or defamatory reviews, ratings, or comments.
13.3 You agree not to use any automated means, including but not limited to bots, scrapers, or spiders, to access the Platform or collect data from the Platform.
14. Privacy
14.1 We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14.2 By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information as set forth in our Privacy Policy.
15. Disclaimers
15.1 The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
15.2 We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Platform or the servers that make the Platform available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
15.3 We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the Platform.
15.4 The effectiveness of any medication varies per individual. MedsGo does not guarantee outcomes, especially in cases of self-medication or when treatment is pursued without the guidance of our licensed physician.
16. Limitation of Liability
16.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
17.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
17.2 Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through amicable settlement. If a settlement is not reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the proper courts of Makati City, to the exclusion of all other venues.
18. Modifications to Terms
MedsGo may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms. Users will be notified of significant updates where possible.
