Indications / Uses

KLENZIT Facewash is used for cleansing the skin and managing mild to moderate forms of acne, where blemishes such as blackheads, whiteheads, papules, and pustules are present. This topical cleansing agent assists in reducing breakouts by penetrating deep into the skin's pores to clear impurities, dirt, and excess oil. Its formulation helps to promote exfoliation and unclog pores, leading to clearer and smoother-looking skin.

Formulation / Ingredients

KLENZIT Facewash contains: Salicylic Acid 1.5% + Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate + Glycerol + Coco-Glucoside + Purified Water + Cocamidopropyl Betaine + PEG-200 Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate + PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate + Laureth-4 + Polyquaternium-43 + Zinc Pca + Sodium Benzotriazolyl Butylphenol Sulfonate + Buteth-3 + Tributyl Citrate + Patent Blue V + Sodium Benzoate

Side Effects

KLENZIT Facewash common side effects include: dryness and peeling of the skin, skin irritation, a sensation of skin burning, and temporary redness. The skin may also become unusually warm immediately following application. Some individuals may experience a flare-up of existing blemishes or increased sensitivity to light. If any irritation persists or severe symptoms like hives, swelling of the face or eyes, or difficulty breathing occur, stop use immediately.

Directions and Dosage

• Dosage for Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): Use to wash the affected area once or twice daily.
• The duration of use is determined by skin condition.

Not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Avoid applying more frequently than recommended to prevent increased skin irritation.

Contraindications

This product is unsuitable for individuals who have a known hypersensitivity to any of the components. It should not be used on children under 12 years of age. Additionally, avoid application to broken skin, cuts, abrasions, or areas affected by conditions like eczema or severe sunburn, as this may lead to excessive irritation or increased absorption.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

The safety of using this product during pregnancy and while nursing an infant has not been fully established. Use is generally not recommended during these periods.

Special Precautions

• Avoid contact with sensitive areas such as the eyes, mouth, nostrils, and mucous membranes during application.
• Exercise extra caution if the user has conditions like diabetes or poor blood circulation.
• Limit exposure to sunlight or artificial UV light during use due to the potential for increased sensitivity.
• If excessive dryness or irritation occurs, reduce the frequency of use.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Be cautious when using this product alongside other topical preparations that can cause skin irritation, dryness, or peeling, especially those containing exfoliating agents. Allow any prior irritating preparations to cease their effects before using this product. The combined use may increase the likelihood or severity of localized skin irritation.

How should I store it?

Store the product at room temperature, ideally below 30°C. Keep it away from direct sources of light and moisture to maintain its stability.
