Indications / Uses

Bioderm Ointment is used for the relief of minor skin irritations such as cuts, burns, scrapes, and insect bites. Ringworm, ezcema, blackheads, pimples, furunculosis, acne, skin itch, white spots (vinea versicolor), athletes Foot (alipunga), hand itch, boils (pigsa), barbers itch, insect bites andother skin irritations on the head and on the body. Bioderm ointment is also effective for prickly heat, dhobie itch, mange, Hong Kong foot and itching dandruff.

DR. S. WONG'S BIODERM Ointment contains Zinc Oxide 12.90g + Benzoic Acid  4.50g + Sulfur 3.40g + Salicylic Acid 1.87g per 100g

Side-effects

Bioderm Ointment common side effects include mild skin irritation, redness, or itching at the application site. In rare cases, allergic reactions such as rash, swelling, or severe itching may occur. If you experience any severe side effects, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional immediately. Prolonged or excessive use may also lead to increased skin sensitivity.

Dosage / Direction

Wash affected areas with soap and warm water. Dry gently but thoroughly. Apply Bioderm Ointment liberally morning and night.

Contraindications

Bioderm Ointment should not be used on deep wounds, puncture wounds, or serious burns without consulting a doctor. It is also contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in the ointment.

Special Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after several days of use. It is recommended to consult a doctor before using the ointment on children or pregnant/breastfeeding women. Do not use under occlusive dressings unless directed by a physician.

Is it safe to take it with other drugs?

Generally, Bioderm Ointment is for topical use and has minimal systemic absorption, making interactions with oral medications unlikely. However, it is always advisable to inform your doctor about all medications you are currently taking.

How should I store it?

Store Bioderm Ointment at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not freeze.
