Losartan is used for: Treating high blood pressure (hypertension)  in adults, children (6-18 years), and teenagers. Protecting the kidneys in adults with Type 2 diabetes  who have kidney impairment and protein in urine. Managing chronic heart failure  when ACE inhibitors are unsuitable as determined by a doctor; however, switching from ACE inhibitors to Losartan is not recommended if heart failure is stable. Reducing the risk of stroke  in patients with high blood pressure and thickened left ventricle (LIFE indication).

NATRASOL Losartan 50mg is used for treating essential hypertension, commonly known as high blood pressure, in adult patients. As an angiotensin II receptor blocker, it works by relaxing the blood vessels to allow blood to flow more easily, thereby lowering blood pressure. It is also indicated to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with hypertension who have left ventricular hypertrophy and offers crucial kidney protection for individuals with type 2 diabetes and proteinuria.
