Sildenafil for Patients

What is Sildenafil: Sildenafil treats erectile dysfunction (ED) by increasing blood flow to the penis.
How to Use: Take sildenafil tablets as needed, 30 minutes to 4 hours before sexual activity, ideally 1 hour before. Do not exceed once daily. Follow your prescription and consult your doctor before making any changes.
Precautions:
- Consult your doctor if you have sickle cell anemia, leukemia, multiple myeloma, a penis deformity, Peyronie’s disease, heart issues, stomach ulcers, or a bleeding disorder like hemophilia.
- Discontinue use and contact your doctor if you experience sudden vision loss.
- Do not take it with other ED treatments or if you do not have ED.
- Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems as you may need a lower dose.
Side Effects:
- Common: headache, flushing, indigestion.
- Severe: vision or hearing loss, chest pain, prolonged erection—seek immediate help.
Storage: Store at room temperature; keep away from children. Dispose of expired or unused medication properly.
Missed Dose: Take as needed for ED.
Emergency: In case of an overdose, contact emergency care immediately.
