INHIBITA Omeprazole 40mg is used for the short-term and maintenance treatment of various acid-related conditions where the stomach produces too much acid. This includes the healing of benign gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as managing symptoms of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis. It is also indicated for pathological hypersecretory conditions, such as Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome, and is part of regimens for eliminating H. pylori bacteria.
