Indication
Vicks VapoRub temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation associated with the common cold. It can also be used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains of muscles and joints.
Dosage / Direction for use
Rub-on Massage
Use by rub-on massage for relief from cough and cold symptoms. It is specially designed to release therapeutic vapours for up to 8 hours. Gently massage on chest, neck and back to get help for restful sleep through the night, even during a cold! (3.5 g for kids, 7.5 g for adults)
Steam Inhalation
Fill a bowl with steaming water (not boiling!) and add 2 tsp of Camphor + Menthol + Eucalyptus Oil (Vicks VapoRub). Let your loved one gently inhale the vapours with a towel over head and the bowl. This can help provide relief from six symptoms of cold (blocked nose, cough, breathing difficulty, headache, muscle stiffness, body ache). You may repeat this up to four times a day but discard bowl contents every time. And supervise the kids!
