Euthyrox

EUTHYROX Levothyroxine 100mcg is used for substitution therapy to replace natural thyroid hormones when the thyroid gland does not produce sufficient amounts (hypothyroidism). It is also employed for the treatment of benign enlargement of the thyroid gland (euthyroid goiter) and for the prophylaxis of relapse following surgical removal of euthyroid goiter. Furthermore, this medication is used in suppression therapy for thyroid cancer to inhibit tumor growth and as a supplementary treatment during anti-thyroid drug therapy for hyperthyroidism.
