Indications / Uses

NOVAZOL Ketoconazole Cream is used for treating fungal skin infections including athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and seborrheic dermatitis. It works by stopping the growth of fungus that causes these infections, providing relief from itching, scaling, and inflammation associated with these conditions.

Formulation / Ingredients
NOVAZOL Ketoconazole Cream contains: Ketoconazole 20mg per gram (2%) + Emulsifying wax + Liquid paraffin + White soft paraffin + Glycerin + Purified water.

Side Effects

NOVAZOL Ketoconazole Cream common side effects include: mild burning, stinging, or itching at the application site. Some users may experience skin dryness, redness, or irritation during the first few days of treatment.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): Apply a thin layer to affected area once or twice daily. Maximum duration: 4 weeks for most infections.
• Adolescents (12-17 years): Apply as directed for adults. Use under supervision if needed.
• Children (2-11 years): Apply small amount to affected area once daily. Maximum duration: 2 weeks.

Not recommended for children under 2 years without medical advice. Avoid using on large areas of skin or under tight dressings.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any imidazole antifungal agents. Avoid application on broken or inflamed skin without medical approval.

Special Precautions

• Discontinue use if severe irritation develops
