Description

Indications/Uses

For the treatment of dermatomycoses caused by fungi, yeasts and molds: Athlete's foot (alipunga), Hand fungus, Ringworm (buni), Jock itch (hadhad), Pityriasis versicolor (an-an), Other skin fungal infections (cutaneous candidiasis, erythrasma).

Dosage/Direction for Use

Apply thinly 2-3 times a day and gently rub in. A strip of cream (1/2 cm long) is enough to treat an area about the size of the hand.
To ensure complete healing depending on the indication, the treatment should be continued even if symptoms disappear according to the duration of treatment as specified as follows: Dermatomycoses: 3-4 weeks.
Erythrasma: 2-4 weeks.
Pityriasis versicolor: 1-3 weeks.
Candida vulvitis and Candida balanitis: 1-2 weeks.
Patients should consult their physician if there is no improvement after the recommended duration of treatment.
Missed dose: No available information.

Overdosage

Signs and Symptoms of Overdose: No risk of acute intoxication is seen as it is unlikely to occur following a single dermal application of an overdose (application over a large area under conditions favorable to absorption) or inadvertent oral ingestion.
When patient has taken more than the recommended dosage: There is no specific antidote however patients should still consult their physician.

Contraindications

People who are hypersensitive to any ingredient in the preparation.

Special Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow.
Cream may reduce the effectiveness and safety of latex products such as condoms and diaphragms when applied on the genital area (women: labia and adjacent area of the vulva; men: prepuce and glans of the penis). The effect is temporary and occurs only during treatment.
Children <2 years.
When to consult a doctor: Patients should consult their physician if there is no improvement after 4 weeks of treatment.

Use In Pregnancy & Lactation

Can be used during pregnancy, but only under HCP direction. Can be used during lactation. If topically used in nipple area, wash breast before feeding the child.

Adverse Reactions

Immune system disorders: Angioedema, anaphylactic reaction, hypersensitivity.
Vascular disorders: hypotension, syncope.
Respiratory, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: dyspnea.
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: Blisters, dermatitis contact, erythema, paraesthesia, skin exfoliation, pruritus, rash, urticaria, stinging skin/burning sensation skin.
General disorders/administration site conditions: application site irritation/reaction, edema, pain.
