Indication
Indicated for the topical treatment of primary bacterial skin infections such as folliculitis, impetigo, furunculosis, and ecthyma, secondary bacterial skin infections such as infected eczema and infected traumatic lesions (abrasions, insect bites, minor wounds and burns not requiring hospitalization), and to avoid bacterial contamination/prevent infection of small wounds.
Dosage
Adult: As 2% ointment: Apply to affected area 2-3 times daily for up to 10 days according to individual response.
Child: Same as adult dose.
Child: Same as adult dose.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity.
Special Precautions
Patient with extensive burns or open wounds. Not indicated for treatment of pressure sores. Renal impairment. Children and elderly. Pregnancy and lactation.
Storage
Store below 25°C. Do not freeze.
