Indications / Uses

APLOSYN Cream is used for treating inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses including eczema, psoriasis, and contact dermatitis. It helps reduce skin inflammation, itching, and redness associated with various skin conditions. The cream formulation provides targeted relief while minimizing systemic absorption when applied as directed.

Formulation / Ingredients
APLOSYN Cream contains: Fluocinolone acetonide 0.01% (1 mg per 10g) + Emulsifying Wax + Liquid Paraffin + Purified Water.

Side Effects

APLOSYN Cream common side effects include: burning or stinging at application site, skin dryness, and folliculitis. Prolonged use may lead to skin atrophy, striae, telangiectasia, and hypopigmentation. Discontinue if signs of skin infection or allergic contact dermatitis develop 

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): Apply thin layer to affected area 2-4 times daily. Do not exceed 4 applications in 24 hours.
• Children (2-11 years): Apply thin layer 1-2 times daily. Do not exceed 2 applications in 24 hours.

Not recommended for infants under 2 years. Maximum treatment duration: 2 weeks unless directed. Avoid occlusive dressings unless specifically prescribed.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to corticosteroids, rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, or untreated skin infections. Avoid application to ulcerated areas, genital regions, or near eyes.

Special Precautions

• Discontinue if skin irritation develops
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
• Do not apply to large surface areas or broken skin
• Monitor for secondary infections with prolonged use

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Concurrent use with other topical products may increase irritation or absorption. Allow 1-hour intervals between applications. Avoid combining with potent topical antibiotics on same treatment areas.

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C in original container. Keep tube tightly closed. Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze.
