CLOXID Cloxacillin 250mg is used for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria known to produce an enzyme that inactivates standard penicillins, such as certain strains of  Staphylococcus . This preparation is specifically effective against various infections of the skin and underlying soft tissues, including infected wounds, boils, and cellulitis. It is also indicated for managing serious systemic conditions like septicemia, as well as infections affecting the respiratory system, bones, and joints. The medication works by disrupting the bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to the destruction of the infectious organisms.
