CLONISAPH Clonidine 150mcg is used for the management of high blood pressure, also known as hypertension, by acting on certain receptors in the brain to reduce sympathetic nervous system signals. This action helps to relax and widen the blood vessels, resulting in a decrease in pressure and heart rate. It is also utilized for the prevention of certain types of recurrent headaches, such as vascular migraines. Furthermore, this preparation has found use in alleviating severe hot flashes and sweats associated with menopause.
