CELEVASTATIN Rosuvastatin 20mg is used for the management of hyperlipidaemias, which encompasses primary hypercholesterolemia (high levels of "bad" cholesterol) and mixed dyslipidaemia (elevated cholesterol and triglycerides). It works as an effective adjunct to dietary changes and physical activity when non-pharmacological methods alone are not sufficient to achieve target lipid levels. This product helps to lower total cholesterol, LDL-C, and triglycerides, while also increasing HDL-C. Furthermore, it is prescribed to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks and strokes, in adult patients considered to be at high risk.
