BACTROMED Mupirocin Ointment is used for treating bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and minor wound infections. It targets Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria commonly found in skin conditions. This topical antibiotic also helps prevent bacterial colonization in cuts, abrasions, and small surgical sites.
