Side Effects

CEELIN Ascorbic Acid Oral Drops for Baby common side effects include: mild gastrointestinal discomfort such as abdominal cramps, nausea, and diarrhea, particularly when consuming large amounts. Prolonged intake of very high doses may also be associated with an increased risk of renal calcium oxalate calculi (kidney stones). The chance of experiencing these unwanted effects increases with the use of higher than recommended amounts.

Directions and Dosage

• Dosage for Infants Birth to less than 6 months: 0.3 mL once daily.
• Dosage for Infants 6 to 11 months: 0.6 mL once daily.
• Dosage for Kids 1 to 2 years old: 1 mL once daily.

Use an appropriate measuring device to ensure accurate dosing. Do not give more than the recommended daily amount.

Contraindications

Do not administer this product if there is a known hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the other components in the solution.

Special Precautions

• Administer with care to patients with a history of kidney stones (hyperoxaluria).
• The body may develop a tolerance in individuals who consume high doses over an extended period.
• The solution contains an excipient, Tartrazine (FD&C yellow #5), which may cause allergic reactions in susceptible persons.
