VITAPLEX-B Vitamin B1 / Vitamin B6 / Vitamin B12 is used for the treatment and prevention of Vitamin B complex deficiencies. It is highly effective in managing conditions such as neuritis, polyneuritis, neuralgia, and various neuropathies including diabetic and alcoholic neuropathy. By supporting nerve regeneration and healthy nervous system function, it helps alleviate symptoms like numbness, tingling sensations, and muscle weakness associated with nerve damage.

Side Effects

VITAPLEX-B Vitamin B1 / Vitamin B6 / Vitamin B12 common side effects include: mild gastrointestinal distress, nausea, or diarrhea. In some cases, prolonged intake of high doses may lead to peripheral sensory neuropathy or skin reactions such as acne or urticaria. Although rare, sensitivity reactions to the components may occur, manifesting as itching or local irritation.

Directions and Dosage

• Dosage for Adults: 1 capsule daily. In more severe cases or during acute symptoms, the dose may be increased to 1 capsule 2 to 3 times daily.

Not recommended for children under 12 years old. Maximum daily dosage: 3 capsules. Duration of treatment is typically determined by the improvement of neurological symptoms.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the vitamins in the formulation. Not suitable for individuals with Leber’s disease or hereditary optic nerve atrophy.

Special Precautions

• Use with caution if there is a history of allergy to cobalt or vitamin B12.
• Prolonged use of high doses should be monitored to avoid potential sensory nerve issues.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

The efficacy may be reduced when taken with levodopa for Parkinson's disease. Certain medications like isoniazid, penicillamine, and oral contraceptives may increase the body's requirement for these vitamins.

Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep protected from direct sunlight and moisture.
