Indications / Uses
- Supports weight loss in adults with obesity or overweight individuals with related health conditions.
- Enhances blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes, alongside diet and exercise.
- Includes vitamin B12 to complement metabolic health and nerve function.
Expected Results
- Glucose control and appetite reduction: Semaglutide acts as a GLP‑1 receptor agonist, enhancing insulin release and impacting satiety. B12 supports energy metabolism and neurological function.
- Clinical Improvements: Patients may begin to see reductions in blood sugar within weeks, and modest weight loss over a few months.
- Reflects evidence: Clinical analogs of semaglutide (e.g., RYBELSUS®) have demonstrated significant reductions in HbA1c and body weight in clinical studies.
Dosage / Directions
Take exactly as your prescriber indicates.
- Administration: Swallow with up to 120 mL (4 oz) plain water on an empty stomach in the morning. Wait a full 30 minutes before eating, drinking other beverages, or taking other medications—doing otherwise may reduce absorption.
- Typical Escalation Schedule:
- Days 1–30: 3 mg daily (start dose)
- Days 31–60: Escalate to 7 mg daily, if tolerated
- Day 61 onward: Possible increase to 14 mg daily, based on clinical response
A missed dose should not be doubled; simply resume your daily routine on the next scheduled day.
Side Effects
Common (mild, usually temporary): Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, decreased appetite, constipation, or headache. Less common but serious: Pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, worsening vision, dehydration, or kidney issues—especially when treating side effects like nausea. Seek medical attention promptly if these occur.
Warnings
- Avoid use if there's a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2 endocrine syndrome.
- Not advised in severe kidney or stomach motility disorders.
- May delay the absorption of oral medications—timing adjustments may be necessary.
Drug Interactions
While slowed gastric emptying may impact the absorption of other oral medications, clinically significant interactions are uncommon. No dose changes are typically required for medications like statins or thyroid hormones, but monitoring may be advised by your healthcare provider.

Store at room temperature between 25°C to 30 °C, in a tightly closed container protected from heat, light, and moisture. Do not refrigerate. Keep out of children’s reach.
