Indications
Mucolytic; Paracetamol overdose
Dosage and Administration
Adult:
600mg daily or 200mg twice a day or three times a day.
Children:
100mg twice a day or four times a day according to age, or as prescribed by the physician.
Dissolve the tablets or granules in a glass containing a small quantity of water. Mix if necessary, with a spoon and drink immediately.
Administer with food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further details.
It is contraindicated in children below 2 years of age.
