Side Effects

- Dosage for Kids 1–5 years: The dosage is typically 5–6 mcg/kg daily, or 75–100 mcg once per day.
- Dosage for Infants 3–6 months: 8–10 mcg/kg daily, or 25–50 mcg once per day.
- Dosage for Neonates 0–3 months: 10–15 mcg/kg per day.
Dosage adjustments are based on individual needs and response to treatment.
Contraindications
This drug should not be used by individuals suffering from an acute overactive thyroid condition (thyrotoxicosis).
