VISIOCARE Potassium Iodide / Sodium Iodide Eye Drops is used for addressing eye conditions associated with oxidative stress. The antioxidant properties of potassium iodide and sodium iodide help neutralize free radicals in the eye. This formulation may aid in managing cataracts and other degenerative eye disorders.

Side-effects
VISIOCARE Potassium Iodide / Sodium Iodide Eye Drops common side effects include: Mild eye irritation, Temporary burning or stinging sensation upon application, Redness of the eye.
Dosage / Direction
Dosage for Adults: 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) 2 to 4 times daily. Maximum daily dosage: 8 drops per eye.
Dosage for Children: Safety and efficacy have not been established; use is not recommended.
Not recommended for use in infants and children under 12 years of age.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
Limited data is available on the use of this formulation during pregnancy and lactation. Use only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk.
Contraindications
Contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to iodine or any component of the formulation. Not to be used in cases of thyroid disorders without medical supervision.
Special Precautions
Use with caution in patients with pre-existing thyroid conditions. Avoid contamination of the dropper tip to prevent bacterial growth. Discontinue use if signs of hypersensitivity or severe irritation occur.
