Indications / Uses

CALIBERI Tadalafil 20mg is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), aiding adult males in achieving and sustaining a hard erection suitable for sexual activity. This higher dose is typically prescribed for on-demand use to treat erection difficulties. It is also specifically indicated for the management of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) to enhance exercise capacity in both male and female patients by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs.

Side Effects

CALIBERI Tadalafil 20mg common side effects include headache, which is the most common reaction, and dyspepsia (indigestion). Other frequent effects may include flushing, back pain, and muscle aches (myalgia). Although rare, serious events such as a prolonged erection lasting more than 4 hours require immediate attention to prevent irreversible tissue damage. Additionally, sudden decreases or loss of vision or hearing have been reported in association with this class of treatment.

Directions and Dosage

• Dosage for Adults (18+ years) for Erection Difficulties: The maximum dose recommended is 20 mg as a single dose. The maximum recommended dosing frequency is once per day.
• Dosage for Adults (18+ years) for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH): The recommended dose is 40 mg (two 20 mg tablets) taken once daily. The daily 40 mg dose should not be divided.

Use is not recommended for children.

Contraindications

Do not use this treatment if you are concurrently taking any medication containing organic nitrates, as this can cause a severe and dangerous drop in blood pressure. It is also contraindicated if you are using guanylate cyclase stimulators. Individuals who have experienced a heart attack within the last 90 days, those with unstable chest pain, or those who have been advised to avoid sexual activity due to cardiovascular health should avoid using this product.

Special Precautions

• Caution is advised for patients with certain blood cell disorders or anatomical malformations of the organ (such as Peyronie's disease) that could predispose them to a prolonged erection.
• The combination with other treatments for erection difficulties or alpha-blockers should be approached with care due to potential blood pressure lowering effects.
• Seek immediate attention if you experience a sudden loss of vision or a sudden decrease in hearing, which may be accompanied by ringing in the ears.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

It is absolutely unsafe to take concurrently with nitrate-based medications or guanylate cyclase stimulators due to a severe risk of low blood pressure. The simultaneous use of alpha-blockers, used to treat high blood pressure or prostate issues, should be done with caution due to the risk of low blood pressure. Dosage adjustments may also be necessary when taken with certain strong metabolism-affecting treatments.

How should I store it?

Store the product in its original packaging to keep it protected from moisture. Ensure it is stored at a temperature not exceeding 30°C and away from high heat.
