Side Effects

Contraindications

Special Precautions
- Do not use for type 1 diabetes mellitus or for the treatment of diabetic ketoacidosis.
- Increased risk of diabetic retinopathy complications in patients with a history of the condition.
- Use with caution in patients with a history of pancreatitis.
- Potential for dehydration due to gastrointestinal side effects; maintain adequate fluid intake.
Is it safe to take it with other medications?
Delayed gastric emptying may affect the absorption of other oral medicinal products. Increased risk of low blood sugar when combined with a sulfonylurea or insulin.
How should I store it?
Before use, store in a refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C. After first use, store below 30°C or in a refrigerator for up to 56 days.
