Indications / Uses

DOLO-NEUROBION 3B is used for the management of mild to moderate pain characterized by mixed nociceptive and neuropathic components. This combination of an analgesic and B-vitamins targets painful conditions like low back pain, radiculitis, spondylitis, neck and shoulder-arm syndromes (brachialgia), sciatica, and carpal tunnel syndrome. It is also suitable for treating various painful conditions following surgical procedures. The formulation provides both pain relief and nutritional support for nerve function.

Formulation / Ingredients

DOLO-NEUROBION 3B contains: Paracetamol 500mg + Thiamine Mononitrate (Vit B1) 50mg + Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vit B6) 100mg + Cyanocobalamin (Vit B12) 100mcg

Side Effects

DOLO-NEUROBION 3B common side effects include: various gastrointestinal complaints such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. The medicine may also cause hypersensitivity reactions, which can manifest as sweating, rapid heart rate, itching, and hives or rash on the skin. In rare instances, severe hematological reactions like a decrease in white blood cells or platelets may occur. Prolonged use of high doses of the components can lead to nerve damage (neuropathies).

Directions and Dosage

• Dosage for Adults and Adolescents (14+ years): 1 tablet. This dosage may be taken 1 to 3 times daily.
• The tablets should be taken every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.

Not recommended for individuals under 14 years of age due to the high content of active components. Treatment duration should be as short as possible.

Contraindications

The product should not be taken by individuals who have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the specific components in this tablet.

Special Precautions

• Long-term intake (6-12 months) of high doses, specifically over 50 mg mean daily dose of one ingredient, may lead to nerve damage (neuropathies).
• Use with caution in individuals with severe kidney issues, liver insufficiency, or those dealing with chronic alcohol dependency.
• Special care is needed for those with impaired Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) function.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

One of the components in this product can reduce the effectiveness of certain antiparkinsonian agents. Also, taking loop diuretics over a long period might lower the blood levels of the B1 component.

How should I store it?

Store the product at room temperature, ideally between 20°C to 25°C. Keep it away from excessive heat and moisture.
