MEDBRON GPC Guaifenesin / Phenylpropanolamine / Chlorphenamine Syrup is used for relieving symptoms of cold, flu, and respiratory allergies. It helps alleviate nasal congestion, reduce mucus viscosity, and manage allergic reactions. This combination medication addresses cough, runny nose, sneezing, and bronchial congestion associated with upper respiratory infections.

Side Effects

MEDBRON GPC Guaifenesin / Phenylpropanolamine / Chlorphenamine Syrup common side effects include: drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, and gastrointestinal discomfort. Some users may experience mild nervousness, headache, or increased heart rate. Allergic reactions like rash or difficulty breathing require immediate discontinuation.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): 10ml every 4-6 hours. Maximum daily dose: 60ml
• Adolescents (12-17 years): 5-10ml every 6-8 hours. Maximum daily dose: 40ml
• Children (6-11 years): 5ml every 6-8 hours. Maximum daily dose: 20ml

Not recommended for children under 6 years. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless otherwise directed.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component; severe hypertension or coronary artery disease; monoamine oxidase inhibitor use within 14 days. Avoid in narrow-angle glaucoma, severe urinary retention, or during acute asthma attacks.

Special Precautions

• Use cautiously with pre-existing hypertension or thyroid disorders
• May cause drowsiness - avoid driving if affected
• Monitor for signs of CNS stimulation in sensitive individuals
• Maintain adequate hydration during treatment

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C in original container. Keep tightly closed and protect from light. Discard 1 month after opening.
