Indications / Uses

LS BL Soap is used for managing skin conditions such as acne, eczema, or dermatitis. It helps cleanse and soothe irritated skin while reducing inflammation and bacterial growth. This medicated soap may also be prescribed for fungal infections or persistent rashes requiring regular therapeutic cleansing.

Formulation / Ingredients
LS BL Soap contains: Salicylic Acid 2% + Sulfur 3% + Zinc Oxide 5%

Side Effects

LS BL Soap common side effects include: temporary redness, skin dryness, peeling, or mild stinging sensation. Rare reactions may involve severe irritation, blistering, or allergic skin reactions. Discontinue use if persistent discomfort or signs of hypersensitivity develop.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and adolescents (12+ years): Apply to affected areas 1-2 times daily. Lather gently and rinse thoroughly after 1-2 minutes.
• Children 2-12 years: Use once daily under adult supervision. Limit application to 30 seconds before rinsing.

Not recommended for children under 2. Maximum daily use: 2 applications. Treatment duration should not exceed 14 days without medical assessment.

Contraindications

Avoid if hypersensitive to sulfur compounds or salicylates. Do not apply to severely broken skin, deep wounds, or severe burns.

Special Precautions

• Test on small skin area before full application
• May increase sun sensitivity - use sunscreen
• Discontinue if excessive dryness or irritation occurs
• Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Potential interactions with topical retinoids or exfoliants may increase irritation. Avoid combining with other medicated soaps unless directed. Consult healthcare provider about concurrent skin treatments.
