Domperidone Tablets contain domperidone, a dopamine antagonist used to treat nausea and vomiting in adults and adolescents aged 12 and older who weigh at least 35 kg.
What are the side-effects of MERIDON Domperidone 10mg Tablet?
Like all medications, Betahistine can cause side effects, though not everyone experiences them.
Stop taking Domperidone and seek immediate medical attention if you experience:
- Swelling in the hands, feet, face, or throat, difficulty swallowing or breathing, or an itchy rash, which may indicate an allergic reaction.
- Uncontrolled movements, such as irregular eye movements or unusual tongue movements, which should resolve after discontinuation.
- A very fast or unusual heartbeat, potentially signaling a serious heart issue.
- A seizure.
Common:
- Dry mouth
Uncommon:
- Decreased libido in men
- Anxiety, agitation, irritability
- Drowsiness, headaches
- Diarrhea, itchy skin or rash
- Unusual breast milk production
- Painful breasts, general weakness
Not Known:
- Serious heart rhythm disorders (higher risk in older adults or at high doses)
- Abnormal eye movements

Dosage / Direction for Use of MERIDON Domperidone 10mg Tablet
For Adults and Adolescents (12 years and older, ≥35 kg):
- One 10mg tablet three times a day, ideally before meals.
- Do not exceed three tablets per day.
Note: Not suitable for children under 12 years or those weighing less than 35 kg.
