Indications / Uses

Erceflora Gut Defense for Kids and Adults is used for the treatment and prophylaxis of intestinal flora imbalance, which is a condition also known as dysbiosis. This preparation is effective for managing acute, chronic, or persistent diarrhea caused by infections, drugs, or poisons. It is also utilized as an adjunctive treatment to help restore the intestinal bacterial flora that may have been altered by antibiotic or chemotherapy treatments. The product supports the recovery of a balanced gut environment in both children and adults.

Side Effects

Erceflora Gut Defense for Kids and Adults common side effects include potential oversensitivity reactions to the components of the product. These reactions may manifest as skin disorders, such as a rash, or more notably, the development of hives (urticaria) and swelling of the skin and mucous membranes (angioedema). Very rarely, systemic infections such as bacteremia, septicemia, or sepsis have been reported in patients who are immunocompromised or severely ill.

Directions and Dosage

• Dosage for Adults (16+ years): 2 to 3 vials per day.
• Dosage for Kids 2–11 years: 1 to 2 vials per day.
• Dosage for Infants more than 1 month old: 1 to 2 vials per day.

Doses should be administered at regular intervals, typically every 3 to 4 hours. The entire content of the vial may be taken as-is or diluted in sweetened water, milk, tea, or orange juice.

Contraindications

The preparation is not suitable for individuals with a confirmed oversensitivity or allergic reaction to any of the components found in the suspension.

• This preparation is intended for oral consumption only; never attempt to inject or administer it by any other means as this can cause severe adverse reactions.
• Individuals with a compromised immune system, or those who are severely ill or premature, should avoid this preparation due to a risk of systemic infection.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

The active ingredient is resistant to many common antibacterial agents, which allows it to be used effectively alongside a course of these agents. To ensure full effectiveness, the dose should be taken in the interval between two administrations of the antibacterial agents.

How should I store it?

It should be stored at room temperature and should not exceed 30°C. Once a vial has been opened, the contents should be consumed immediately to prevent any potential contamination.
