Indications / Uses

TUSERAN FORTE is used for the symptomatic relief of cough, nasal congestion, headache, and fever associated with common colds and flu. It combines a cough suppressant, decongestant, and pain reliever to address multiple respiratory symptoms simultaneously. This formulation helps reduce coughing, ease breathing, and alleviate discomfort during respiratory infections.

Formulation / Ingredients
TUSERAN FORTE contains: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 15mg + Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 10mg + Paracetamol 325mg per capsule.

Side Effects

TUSERAN FORTE common side effects include: drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, and nervousness. Some users may experience mild increases in blood pressure, dry mouth, or constipation. These effects are typically transient but may require discontinuation if persistent.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): 1 capsule every 4-6 hours as needed. Maximum: 4 capsules in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children under 12 years. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless directed otherwise.

Contraindications

Severe hypertension, coronary artery disease, or MAOI use within 14 days. Hypersensitivity to any component. Severe liver impairment.

Special Precautions

• Avoid alcohol due to paracetamol-related liver risk
• Monitor blood pressure in hypertensive patients
• Use cautiously with other sedatives or CNS depressants

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Avoid MAO inhibitors, blood pressure medications, or other cough/cold products. Consult before combining with sedatives or antidepressants. Check for paracetamol content in other medicines.

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C in original packaging. Keep tightly closed and away from moisture. Protect from direct sunlight.
