Paracetamol / Phenylpropanolamine / Chlorphenamine is a combination medication effective in relieving cold symptoms. Paracetamol acts as a pain reliever and fever reducer by blocking certain brain chemical messengers.
Phenylpropanolamine serves as a decongestant, relieving nasal congestion by narrowing blood vessels.
Chlorpheniramine, an antiallergic, helps relieving allergy symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.

Dosage / Direction for Use of SYMDEX-D FORTE Tablet
Adult: One 25mg / 2mg / 500mg tablet every 6 hours or as prescribed by a physician
Children (7 to 12 years old): One-half tablet every 6 hours or as prescribed by a physician
Give with or without meals.
Contraindications
- If the patient has an allergy to any component of the product.
- If the patient has high blood pressure or severe heart disease unless advised by a doctor.
- If the patient has anemia, kidney, or liver disease unless advised by a doctor.
- If the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding.
Special Precautions
Use with caution in patients with:
- High blood pressure
- Toxic goiter
- Benign prostatic hypertrophy
- Irregular heart rate
- Glaucoma
- or those taking antidepressants.
Patients with heart disease and uncontrolled or untreated high blood pressure should seek medical advice before using Phenylpropanolamine.
Liver Warning: This product contains Paracetamol. Severe liver damage may result if an adult or child aged 12 years and older takes more than 4g of Paracetamol within 24 hours, exceeds the maximum daily amount; if combined with other Paracetamol-containing medicines; or if consuming three or more alcoholic drinks daily while using this product.
Consult a doctor before use if the patient has liver or kidney disease, or is taking warfarin, a blood-thinning medication.
May induce drowsiness; caution advised when driving or engaging in tasks requiring alertness.

Avoid using this product alongside sympathomimetic agents (e.g., Epinephrine) and general anesthetics (e.g., Halothane) due to the potential for heightened toxicity.
Combining it with medications for depression (e.g., Amitriptyline, Imipramine, Sertraline, Moclobemide, etc.) could lead to a hypertensive crisis, characterized by a sudden and severe increase in blood pressure that may result in a stroke.
Additionally, medications that stimulate the enzymes responsible for the metabolic activation of Paracetamol, such as those for convulsions (e.g., Phenobarbital), may increase the risk of liver damage.
Inform the doctor about all other medications the patient is taking, particularly those for cough, cold, allergies, pain, or fever.

Kontraindikasyon
- Bawal Gamitin Kung ang pasyente ay may allergy sa anumang bahagi ng produkto.
- Kung ang pasyente ay may mataas na presyon ng dugo o malubhang sakit sa puso maliban na kung payuhan ng doktor.
- Kung ang pasyente ay may anemia, sakit sa bato, o sakit sa atay maliban na kung payuhan ng doktor.
