Side Effects
MUCOSOLVAN Ambroxol 30mg / 5mL common side effects include: mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and dyspepsia. Directions and Dosage
- Adults and Kids over 12 years: 5 mL 3 times daily for the first 2 to 3 days, then 5 mL 2 times daily.
- Kids 6–12 years: 2.5 mL 2 to 3 times daily.
- Kids 2–5 years: 1.25 mL 3 times daily.
Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless directed otherwise. Dosage recommendations are based on a concentration of 30mg per 5mL.
Contraindications
Not to be used by individuals with known hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the inactive components of the syrup. Avoid use in cases of rare hereditary conditions that may be incompatible with the product's excipients.
Special Precautions
- Use with caution if there is a history of gastric ulcers or impaired renal and hepatic function.
- Discontinue use immediately if new skin or mucosal lesions occur, as severe skin reactions have been rarely reported.
