Indications / Uses

Allecur Cetirizine Syrup for Kids is used for relieving symptoms of allergic conditions such as sneezing, itchy or runny nose, watery eyes, and skin reactions caused by seasonal allergies, hay fever, or chronic hives in children and adults.

Formulation / Ingredients
Allecur Cetirizine Syrup for Kids contains: Cetirizine dihydrochloride 5mg/5mL + apple flavoring + purified water.

Side Effects

Allecur Cetirizine Syrup for Kids common side effects include: mild drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, or fatigue. Rare cases may involve nausea, abdominal discomfort, or hypersensitivity reactions such as rash or itching.

Directions and Dosage

• Children 2–6 years: 2.5 mL (2.5mg) once daily. Do not exceed 2.5mg in 24 hours.
• Children 6–12 years: 5 mL (5mg) once daily. Do not exceed 5mg in 24 hours.
• Adults and adolescents (12+ years): 5–10 mL (5–10mg) once daily. Max: 10mg daily.

Not recommended for children under 2 years. Maximum treatment duration: 14 days unless advised otherwise.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with severe kidney disease or known hypersensitivity to antihistamines.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
