Indications
Used for the relieve of allergy symptoms such as watery eyes; runny nose; itching eyes/nose; sneezing; hives; and itching.
Dosage
The usual dose for children is 5 mg/5 ml-10 mg/10 ml (1-2 teaspoons) once daily for children 6-11 years in case of syrup formulation. Allecur is commonly used at the same time every day.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Severe renal impairment.
Special Precautions
Patients with epilepsy and patients at risk of convulsions; risk factors for urinary retention (e.g. spinal cord lesion, prostatic hyperplasia). Hepatic and mild to moderate renal impairment. Children, elderly. Pregnancy and lactation.
