FAKTU Ointment is used for the symptomatic relief of hemorrhoids, providing local antiseptic and anesthetic action. It helps reduce inflammation, pain, and discomfort associated with acute hemorrhoidal episodes. The combination targets both infection risk and acute pain management for comprehensive symptom control.

FAKTU Ointment contains: Policresulen 100mg + Cinchocaine Hydrochloride 2.5mg

Side Effects

FAKTU Ointment common side effects include: localized burning, itching, or irritation at the application site. Less frequently, allergic skin reactions such as redness or swelling may occur. Systemic effects are rare but may include dizziness or gastrointestinal discomfort with excessive use.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): Apply 1 suppository daily, preferably after bowel movements. Maximum: 1 suppository per day.

Not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless medically advised. Discontinue if symptoms persist beyond this period.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to components, anal fissures, or open wounds at application site. Avoid with severe liver impairment or existing systemic infections.
