Indications / Uses
MICOFRED Miconazole 2% is used for the topical treatment of various fungal skin infections, including athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. It is highly effective against dermatophytes and yeasts that cause skin irritation, scaling, and redness. This cream works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a critical component of fungal cell membranes, thereby destroying the fungi and preventing the spread of the infection across the skin surface.
