Indications/Uses
Wide range of eczemas & other inflammatory & allergic dermatoses where secondary bacterial &/or fungal infection is present or suspected.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a thin layer over the affected area bid-tid.
Contraindications
Skin TB, chickenpox, herpes simplex, measles, vaccinia, syphilitic skin lesions. Prolonged use or in large doses during pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Increased systemic absorption in the treatment of extensive BSA or use of occlusive dressings. Avoid application to open wounds or damaged skin.
Adverse Reactions
Burning, dryness, folliculitis, hypertrichosis, acneiform eruptions; when covered w/ occlusive dressing, maceration, skin atrophy, striae & miliaria. Gentamicin: Transient irritation. Clotrimazole: Erythema, stinging, blistering, peeling, edema, pruritus, urticaria, general skin irritation.
