Indications / Uses

LS BL Cream is used for treating inflammatory skin conditions with fungal infections such as tinea corporis, cruris, and pedis. It combines antifungal action against dermatophytes with potent anti-inflammatory effects to reduce redness, itching, and scaling. This dual-action formulation addresses both infection and inflammation in dermatological conditions requiring comprehensive management.

Formulation / Ingredients
LS BL Cream contains: Ketoconazole 10mg + Clobetasol propionate 500mcg per gram.

Side Effects

LS BL Cream common side effects include: local burning, stinging, itching, and dryness at application site. Prolonged use may lead to skin thinning, striae, or telangiectasia. Systemic absorption can cause adrenal suppression with extensive long-term application.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and adolescents 12+ years: Apply thin layer to affected area twice daily. Maximum daily application area: 10% body surface.
• Children 2-12 years: Apply thin layer once daily. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days.

Not recommended for infants below 2 years. Maximum treatment duration: 2 weeks for all age groups. Discontinue when control is achieved.

Contraindications

Do not use with known hypersensitivity to azole antifungals or corticosteroids. Avoid in viral skin infections (herpes, chickenpox), acne, rosacea, and perioral dermatitis. Contraindicated for ophthalmic use or on open wounds.

Special Precautions

• Avoid facial application due to higher absorption risk
• Monitor for signs of skin atrophy with prolonged use
• Discontinue immediately if hypersensitivity reactions occur

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Potential enhanced effects with other topical corticosteroids. Avoid concurrent use with occlusive dressings. No significant systemic drug interactions reported with topical application.

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C in original tube. Keep container tightly closed. Protect from light and moisture.
